Today, we visited Epcot and drank around the world! We enjoyed Festival of the Arts and had a low key, but super fun day filled with lots of drinks, lots of laughs and lots of eats! Keep reading to see just how we had the perfect day in Epcot.
What to Rope Drop
Now here was a day I had been waiting for – Epcot! Personally speaking, Epcot is my least favorite park but I knew today was going to be filled with food and drinks and I. Was. Ready. We headed to the park for early park entry and let me tell you – it was cold! I was in my little jacket but I was wearing a skort so my legs were freezing! When we got to Epcot we walked towards France, but not to rope drop Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure like the rest of the masses, no no. We rope dropped Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie. I was dreaming about their ham and cheese croissant with a béchamel sauce on the top. It’s creamy and it’s dreamy.

After a lovely breakfast, we made our way to Norway and let me just say, the line for Frozen Ever After was absurd. It was practically in the next country! We grabbed a spot on line and one of us went to Kringla Bakery Og Kafe to grab a sweet treat (Lefse) and our first official drink of the day – Frozen Viking Coffee. This was a delicious morning beverage even though it was cold. It was the perfect way to settle into the line which only took 45 minutes (it looked so much worse than it was)!

MidMorning Snicky Snack
It was officially the mid morning and we were starting to feel peckish. We decided to stop at a Festival of the Arts booth and pick up a little snack. We also happened to be near the mural that guests can paint on so we also did that. It was a dream that I didn’t realize I had until now come true. After painting, we decided to take some fun pictures around the festival and then walk through Moana -Journey of Water. I highly recommend doing this first thing or last thing of the day. The different interactive elements tend to get backed up in the middle of the day and create a line and it just becomes one glob of line which is not fun at all. We waited twenty minutes to get a picture with Te Fiti (worth it) and then decided to head over to Mexico for our next treat.
In Mexico, I got festival booth items but obviously I got a margarita. What can I say, I love Tequila. I also got a corn flan which sounded weird and I needed to experience it. My husband got a margarita and chips and guacamole. These chips were so good and the guacamole was excellent and a bit spicy, so watch out if you’re heat sensitive.

Afternoon Eats
After Mexico we decided to try out the China festival booth and my husband ran to Germany to grab a beverage. The drinks in China just weren’t as appealing to him. I got the General Tso’s shumai and they were…. okay. My husband said his beer was perfect and exactly what he needed since the weather decided to heat up quite a bit.

We walked to Spaceship Earth, took a lovely ride into the past and saw a glimpse of our future. This is always such a nice break in the day. After the ride we grabbed some food from another food booth. We made our way to Canada to try out their festival booth and to get my husband another beer. Eventually, we made our way back to France to eat more French food. I also had a Frozen French Martini and my husband had an elderflower champagne drink. The snacks we had in the afternoon were all so good and to be quite honest, I still dream about them today.

Evening Activities
We decided for the evening we would go to countries we hadn’t been to yet and eat and drink there for dinner. We went to Japan and we got literally everything off their food booth menu. I had been dreaming about getting a sushi donut for years but never was able to visit Disney World in January to get it so this was a dream come true for me and let me just say – it didn’t disappoint! The donut was perfect, the fish was fresh and the sauces were fantastic.

After taking some pictures in Morocco and Japan, we made our way to the America Pavilion to grab some stuff off their food menu. I grabbed the deviled eggs because if you know me – you know I love a good deviled egg. These were.. fine, the classic deviled egg being my favorite but they did all have their own unique flavors and I thought it was a fun dish. We ended the night at Cosmic Rewind and visiting the United Kingdom for fish and chips. This was how I also learned I do not like fish and chips. My husband gladly ate the whole meal.

At this point it was time to head back to our hotel. We had such a great day and knew tomorrow would also be loads of fun. With our bellies full we headed back to the hotel, ready to sleep off all those food and drinks.

Thanks for reading along and seeing just how we had a perfect chill eating and drinking around Epcot day! Until next time – stay magical!
